Happily, I can hear Aunty Kathleen's laugh now and see her in my mind's eye - always smartly dressed and beautifully coordinated. My Mum, Connie, was always envious of her sister Kathleen's super-slim figure and the fact that she could dress in smart suits with straight skirts to go to work. They remained very close throughout their lives until Connie's death in 2010 and thereafter Aunty Kathleen missed their regular telephone calls to each other terribly. I'd like to think they are together now, having a good old catch-up. I have treasured memories of times spent with her and Uncle Len and cousin Raymond that bring a smile to my face. Uncle Len and Aunty Kathleen were the perfect example of a happy couple - content just to be in each other's company. They were both, quite simply, good people. We will miss them very much but they'll be with us forever in our hearts. Rest in peace.
